IMPORTANT: The "Pipe Size" designation listed above does not directly correspond to the outside or inside diameter, review the above table very carefully to determine the appropriate diameter for your requirement. This is the cause of many installation problems in the field with High-Conductivity Copper Bus Tubing.
ASTM Specification B188 Seamless Copper Bus Pipe and Tube, establishes the outside diameters, the tolerances in terms of weight, and the electrical inspection. DC Resistance for hard drawn temper per ASTM-B188.
Skin-effect ratio of the copper tubing listed above at 60 cycles per second and 105 C temperature.
